Welcome to Nancy Williamson Framing and Fibers.

My picture framing career began with a love of framed art and the misconception that custom picture framing was too expensive, until a class taught by Marilyn Ebel at Lower Columbia Community College in Longview, Washington, introduced me to conservation framing.  I then attended Paul Frederick's Picture Framing Academy in San Francisco, apprenticed at the Photographic Image Gallery in Old Town Portland and The Artisan in Lake Oswego, and joined the Portland (Oregon) Chapter of the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA). I have been a certified picture framer (CPF) for over 25 years,

Knitting is my other passion, and in January 2010, I decided to add yarn to my shop. I joined The National Needlearts Association (TNNA), and have been 'on a roll' ever since!

There is much to learn about my new trade, but with the help of friends, customers, trade reps, other knitters, and many educational classes, I hope to make my yarn shop an enjoyable place to visit and find yarn that will be an inspiration to your creativity.
